The Straw Bale Cabin
is the perfect escape to the countryside; peaceful,
relaxing, environmentally friendly.
Standing in the corner of a wildflower meadow overlooking
a delightful pond, the curvy, clay plastered walls,
oak beams and deep oak windowsills give the cabin
an old country charm.
Recently built with natural materials, the unique
Straw Bale Cabin is cosy and comfortable. There is
one double bedroom and a sofa bed option.
Energy is provided by a wind turbine and solar panels.
Other environmentally friendly features include the
free use of bicycles, collection from the local railway
station (excellent train links), buy local shopping
service, organic sheets and towels, “green”
library, wormery and composting facilities.
