The Bower Bank EcoBarn
provides the perfect setting for your environmentally
friendly holiday within the Yorkshire Dales National
Park.
Located in the tiny hamlet of Gawthrop on the Dales
Way Route, one mile from the picturesque village of
Dent, the EcoBarn enjoys truly outstanding views of
the beautiful Dentdale Valley.
Formerly the recording studio of musician and broadcaster
Mike Harding, the barn has recently been converted
sympathetically to a high standard to provide very
comfortable family and small group accommodation for
up to ten people.
There are two ensuite family rooms having superior
quality bunkbeds complete with orthopaedic mattresses
and soft and firm pillows. Each bunk bed has a duvet,
duvet cover and base sheet. Towels are also provided.
The open plan lounge and dining area has a superb
double height beamed ceiling. There is a fully equipped
kitchen stocked with a variety of organic cereals,
preserves, tea, coffee, sugar, milk and butter. Rolls
and croissants will be delivered daily having been
baked at the village shop.
A separate ensuite twin-bedded room in the farmhouse
is also available. Free transport is available to/from
Dent and Oxenholme Stations for up to six people staying
for a week.
