How to hire a car through Natural Discovery

• It's very simple. Just click on the button below, complete the booking form
  and choose from the full range of cars and rates available with Avis.
• When you have chosen a suitable vehicle and are happy to go ahead with the hire make sure that you check the box to offset the carbon dioxide emissions associated with your hire. There is no extra charge for this!

How is the car hire made carbon neutral?

• Natural Discovery is making use of the partnership Avis has developed with Future Forests. Future Forests specialises in helping companies and individuals to quantify their contribution to global warming through the amount of carbon dioxide they produce.
• Since May 1999, Avis has significantly reduced its energy consumption and
  its staff and customers have planted over 100,000 trees to soak up
  unavoidable CO2 emissions. The trees are native species in long term natural woodland - so there's also a real benefit to wildlife and local communities.
• These trees offset the CO2 emissions from the Avis rental stations and HQs as well as the car rentals.
• The rental offset was calculated by the Edinburgh Centre for Carbon Management. It is based on an average rental of 5 days and the vehicle being a Vauxhall Vectra.
