Natural Discovery and the Lythe Hill Hotel launch Electric Biking from Haslemere

The Lythe Hill Hotel and Spa in Haslemere has teamed up with Natural Discovery to offer the Electric Biking Experience. Guests can choose from a range of specially developed routes that start and end at the hotel.

The hire service was launched on the 14th July at an event hosted by the hotel. The Deputy Mayoress of Haslemere cut the ribbon on one of the fleet of electric bikes. Pictures of the launch are below. To find out more about the Electric Biking Experience click here.

Guildford MP Anne Milton shows the way on an electric bicycle

On the 21st June Guildford MP Anne Milton completed the annual Parliamentary Bike Ride on an electric bicycle provided by Natural Discovery. She has chosen an electric bike to demonstrate how this innovative type of transport can encourage people to leave their cars at home.

Commenting on the experience, she said “I think it’s a wonderful idea – allowing people to enjoy cycling in our beautiful countryside who otherwise may not be able and providing an environmentally friendly alternative to the car.”

Natural Discovery teams up with the Mercure White Horse Hotel, Dorking

From June 2006, guests staying at the Mercure White Horse Hotel, Dorking, will be offered the chance to explore the surrounding area on an innovative new form of eco-transport – electric bikes! There is a range of great routes to choose from that start from the hotel doorstep.

Commenting on the introduction of the scheme, general manager Tom Fullard said, "We’re delighted to be working with Natural Discovery on such an innovative scheme. Our guests are always asking for tips about what to see and do in the local area and I think giving them the opportunity to explore the Surrey Hills area in this way will prove exceptionally popular."

The Electric Biking Experience is available from the beginning of May and is ideal for couples or groups of friends who want to get away from it all and try something a little bit different. Electric bicycles have a throttle that enables the rider to deliver an extra boost of environmentally-friendly electric power.

Over recent months we have been running a stall at various events. The stall acts as a showcase for our ideas and our sample range of products. We have attended green fairs, farmers markets and also Spitalfields Organic Market in London. Please contact us for more information on our markets.
