Your activity

We have put together a unique selection of three complementary healthy and enjoyable activities that will leave you feeling refreshed and raring to go.

Our fully qualified practitioner in Reflexology and Jin Shin Jyutsu will also give you excellent instruction in both of these as well as self-help tips for you to take home. This will form part of your take home experience enabling you to optimise your own health and well-being in your everyday life.

In the evening, we have arranged a dinner with a difference at popular local restaurant ‘25 Steps’. Watch a top local chef cook up a healthy meal made from delicious local and organic produce right in front of your eyes and just for you. Learn some great tips on how to make the most of your diet.

As always, you will have a day free to explore Hastings and the local area using the Discovery Information we send you before you travel.

Jin Shin Jyutsu
  • Jin Shin Jyutsu brings balance to the body's energies, optimising health and well-being.
  • It is a valuable complement to conventional healing methods, inducing relaxation and reducing the effects of everyday stress.
  • A session lasts an hour and involves placing the fingertips (over clothing) on designated safety energy locks, to harmonize and restore the body’s energy flow. It does not involve massage, muscle manipulation or use of drugs.
  • Jin Shin Jyutsu can also be applied as self-help and our practitioner will give you some valuable self-help tips.

Reflexology

  • Reflexology is a Complementary Therapy that applies pressure to the feet or hands, enabling the body to heal itself.
  • Our hectic and stressful lives can often leave the body is in a state of "imbalance" and vital energy pathways are blocked, preventing the body from functioning effectively. Reflexology restores and maintains the body's natural equilibrium, encouraging healing.
  • For each person, the application and the effect of the therapy is unique. The Reflexologist detects tiny deposits and imbalances in the feet and, by working on these, releases blockages and restores the free flow of energy to the whole body.
  • Tensions are eased and circulation, and elimination, is improved ultimately leaving the body revitalised.
